compound is breached by storm tides.

A new creek has formed allowing tidal
access to the saltmarsh. Previously water arrived via Greenshank creek in the South and peaked
approximately one hour after high tide.

The slipway continues to break up in the next series of high tides

The old slipway has almost gone and
the tide is now eroding Beach Road

There has been a further substantial breakup of the old slipway at the end of Beach
Road. Many tons of concrete and other construction material are slowly on the move
Southwards joining the vast volume of alien material along the SSSI from previous
breakups of E.L.D.C. structures.
